This policy explains how Guidasha LLC (“Guidasha,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, shares, protects, and keeps information when you use our app and website.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use our services, we collect:
- Account details: your email address, name if provided, account identifier, sign-in information, and settings
- Answers and preferences: assessment responses and results, topics you select, and related preferences
- Content you provide or create: written responses, follow-up answers, personal notes, and text or audio created from your requests
- App activity: saved content, playback history, notification and playback preferences, update requests, and subscription information
- Website submissions: contact details, inquiries, messages, and information provided in professional applications
- Technical information: browser and device details, app or website activity, approximate location, diagnostics, and information used to prevent fraud or abuse
Content you choose to provide may include sensitive details about health, emotions, relationships, or other personal circumstances. Please avoid including information that identifies another person.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Manage accounts and provide the services or content you request
- Save content, preferences, and progress across devices
- Manage subscriptions and access to paid services
- Send requested notifications, account messages, and updates
- Respond to inquiries and review professional applications
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our services
- Meet legal obligations and enforce our terms
AI Processing
When you ask us to create audio from your responses, external AI services process those responses and the text or audio created from them. We do not intentionally attach your name, email address, or account identifier to this content. Your writing may still identify you or someone else if you include identifying details.
We do not use your responses or generated content to train our own AI models. Where a provider offers a choice, we do not opt in to voluntary training programs.
Providers have different practices. Some commercial AI services do not use submitted content to train general-purpose models by default. Others may use it to provide, secure, test, or improve their services under their own terms. We limit what we send to what is needed for your request and review provider practices as our services change.
How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We share information as needed with providers that support hosting, sign-in, storage, AI processing, subscriptions, analytics, communications, error reporting, and abuse prevention. These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
We may also disclose information to meet legal requirements, protect rights or safety, or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of the business. If ownership changes, we will take reasonable steps to require the recipient to follow this policy.
Providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Foreign laws may allow access by courts, law enforcement, or national security authorities.
Analytics and Cookies
Optional App Usage Statistics
If you agree, we use PostHog’s US Cloud service to understand app use and performance. Statistics include general interactions, activity duration and completion, subscription activity, processing outcomes and timings, and app, device, network, language, and time-zone details.
A random account identifier links activity across visits and devices. Installation and session identifiers may also be included. These statistics are linked to your account and are not anonymous. They do not include your name, email address, written answers, assessment results, sensitive classifications, personal notes, or text or audio content.
PostHog receives technical connection information, including your IP address, when statistics are sent. Our analytics configuration disables client IP storage and IP-based location enrichment.
Statistics are off until you agree. You can use the app without agreeing and change your choice in Settings. Turning statistics off stops new collection; it does not automatically delete information already sent. This choice is separate from information needed to provide and secure the service. You can request access to or deletion of past statistics at admin@guidasha.com.
Website Analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and form submissions. It uses browser cookies and standard website information, including pages viewed, referring links, campaign details, and device information. Our custom analytics fields exclude contact details, messages, assessment answers or results, sensitive classifications, and text or audio content. Google may also collect standard automatic website measurements. Error diagnostics are separate from product analytics.
Website analytics stays off until you choose Allow analytics. You can change your choice through Analytics settings in the footer. Declining clears Google Analytics cookies and stops new collection and custom analytics events. We respect supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals and store your preference to remember your choice.
Requests to providers disclose technical connection information. After consent, Google Analytics also receives website URLs, referring links, and campaign information. Please do not put personal information in these links. Website analytics does not send an authenticated identity or link its browser identifier to your app account.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption during transmission, access controls, and protected storage. Access is limited to people and providers who need it to operate, support, secure, or improve our services. No system is completely secure.
How Long We Keep Information
We generally keep account details, answers and results, saved content, notes, and generated text or audio while your account is active. Ending a subscription does not delete your account or content.
Account deletion removes account-linked records from our active database. Stored audio, backups, operational logs, and copies held by providers may remain longer while separate deletion processes finish or for security or legal reasons.
AI providers have different retention periods. Some processing copies are ordinarily deleted within 30 days, with security, abuse-prevention, and legal exceptions. Other providers may keep content for as long as needed to provide, secure, test, or improve their services.
We keep inquiries and professional applications only as long as reasonably needed to respond, review them, maintain business records, or meet legal obligations. Information no longer needed may be deleted or anonymized.
App analytics records and related account profiles are kept as long as reasonably needed to understand usage and performance, subject to security and legal requirements. Questions or requests about retained information can be sent to admin@guidasha.com.
Your Choices and Requests
You can update certain information and delete your account in account settings. To request access, correction, or deletion of other personal information, contact admin@guidasha.com. We may need to verify your identity. Legal requirements or exceptions may limit a request.
Children’s Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy. Changes will appear on this page with a revised date.
